The Day of the Open Wine Cellar

Every year on Ascencion Day, the vineyards open their doors and offer wine and specialties of the Mosel area.

The Wine Fountain Festival

The traditional Wine Fountain Festival takes place every year at Whitsun.

The Loreley Festival with Fireworks

The Loreley Festival in Piesport always takes place on the first weekend in July. The festival begins at 17:00 hrs on the Friday, with live music, drinks and food stands. The highlight are the fireworks to music on the Saturday at 22:30 hrs at the Loreley Cliff.

The Vineyard Festival

Every 2nd weekend in August, the Vineyard Festival in Piesport takes place, where the vintners offer their wines and specialities of the Mosel area.

The Roman Wine-Pressing Festival

Every 1st weekend in October, the Mosel Promenade turns into a wine street full of extravagance, with the choicest Piesport wines. There is a Roman procession and you can take a trip on a rebuilt Roman wine boat.
